Your username is your St. Mary's ID number. Your password is your last name. This is NOT the same as your login to Canvas.

Login example:

username: 123456789
password: Smith

Use upper and lowercase just as you normally would write your name. If your last name has a hyphen or space in it, please include the hyphen or space. For more login examples see this page.

If you changed your name since you were admitted to the University, please try both variations of your last name.

You must be currently enrolled to be eligible for remote access. If you are pre-enrolled for a future semester, your off-campus access will begin when your classes start.

If you are a resident of San Antonio or Bexar County and not currently eligible to login to the Blume Library databases, some of the same information can be accessed remotely using the databases from the San Antonio Public Library and the Bexar County Bibliotech. Don't use the leading zeros in your ID number. If your ID number starts with an S and some leading zeros, don't use the S or the leading zeros.
For example, if your ID number appears as 00001234567809 or s00001234567809, just use 1234567809 to login.)

If you are at a place of business that uses a firewall, you probably will not be able to connect to the databases from behind the firewall. If you use a personal firewall and have trouble connecting to the databases, please turn the firewall off temporarily and try again.

If you are on campus, you don't need to login here to access the restricted databases. The computers on campus are fully authenticated. Use the List of Databases page, or, for more information, see About the Databases.
